HOSPICE OPERATIONS SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Aid in performing receptionist duties.
Support in managing incoming and outgoing mail.
Enter daily reports of visits, flow notes, and medical supplies.
Maintain client medical records according to agency policy and procedure.
Order, receive, and stock medical supplies while maintaining inventory control.
Participate in cross-training activities.
Implement infection and exposure control measures as per the agency's plan.
Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks accurately and promptly.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of general office experience and data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette.
- Ability to communicate clearly, using good grammar.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other commonly used software programs.
- Typing speed of 45 to 50 words per minute and proficiency with a 10-key calculator.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
