Hospice Nurse RN - 7D on/7D off

What You’d Do

• Take calls from 4:30 P.M until 8:00 A.M. each night as well as take calls through the weekend.
• Support patients and families in the time of their greatest need and respond to emergent needs on weekends, evenings, and overnight.
• Aid caregivers and patients, provide medications as needed, and offer teaching to ensure comfort for pain, breathlessness, dying, or support at the time of death with compassion, integrity, respect, and dignity in all interactions.

What It Takes

• RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Demonstrated patience and a supportive and sensitive approach to providing patient, family, and caregiver support.
• Willingness and ability to provide care in facility and patient home settings.

Schedule

This is a full-time role that is 7 days on and 7 days off, with shifts from 4:30 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. each night and through the weekend.
