What You’d Do
- Take calls from 4:30 P.M until 8:00 A.M. each night as well as take calls through the weekend.
- Schedule visits as needed.
- Support patients and families in the time of their greatest need.
- Respond to emergent needs on weekends, evenings, and overnight.
- Aid caregivers and patients, provide medications, and offer teaching to ensure comfort.
- Provide care with compassion, dignity, and respect during the patient’s transition.
What It Takes
- RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Current, valid CPR certification.
- Demonstrated patience and a supportive and sensitive approach to providing patient, family, and caregiver support.
- Willingness and ability to provide care in facility and patient home settings.
