At Autumn Lake Healthcare, our commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care is evident in every aspect of our centers. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Music Therapist to join our team in Bridgetown, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans for patients in our hospice care program
- Conduct music therapy sessions, including singing, playing instruments, and listening to music
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on the benefits and uses of music therapy
Requirements
- Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Music Therapist (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or related field
- Certification as a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
