About the role
The PeaceHealth Hospice Care team is dedicated to easing the fears, anxieties, and discomforts that occur during the advanced stages of illness. The team provides a full continuum of care for patients and their families. Medical, spiritual, and emotional assistance helps patients and their families to ease the symptoms of life-threatening illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Traveling throughout Clark and Cowlitz Counties to provide hospice and palliative care services.
- Working with a vibrant multi-disciplinary team in Vancouver, Washington.
- Providing consultation on patient care and management to other physicians and members of the hospice interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory changes, documentation requirements, and all procedures related to end-of-life care.
Requirements
- Experience as a BC/BE Palliative & Hospice Care physician.
- Fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Care is highly desired.
Qualifications
- Medical degree.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Washington.

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

This opportunity will require traveling throughout Clark and Cowlitz Counties.
