Hospice Liaison

Ambercare Hospice is seeking a driven, high-impact Hospice Liaison to grow our presence in Albuquerque, NM. We’re looking for a results-oriented sales professional with experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare marketing who knows how to build relationships and generate referrals.

About the role

In this field-based position, you will take ownership of your territory, developing strong referral partnerships, increasing census, and positioning Ambercare Hospice as the provider of choice. The role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability, visibility, and winning new business.

Location: Albuquerque, NM and surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate referrals to Hospice care based on Hospice admission criteria
• Assist in information gathering, education, and form completion aspects of patient intake, admissions, and transition to home
• Develop consultative relationships in assigned accounts by making effective customer contacts and presentations
• Develop and implement marketing and education programs to increase awareness of the company

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or other related fields is preferred; acceptable combination of experience and/or training may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Minimum of one year of professional sales experience preferred
• Experience in the hospice and healthcare industry is a plus
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills
• Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements
• Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain good relationships with customers, co-workers, and other business partners
