About the role
Provide patient admissions through coordination of referrals and admission team nurses.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify validity of patient referrals.
- Coordinate with admission team pertinent information in a timely manner.
- Verify patient insurance.
- Provide admission information to doctor's office, business office, and admission nurse.
- Perform various routine clerical duties and other assignments as needed.
Requirements
- Healthcare intake experience required.
- Knowledge of insurance requirements for hospice care.
- 1+ years of hospice experience, preferred.
Qualifications
Licensed Vocational Nurse (strongly preferred).
