Hospice Field LPN
Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated LPN to work in South Pinellas County, covering the Seminole/Largo area. Since 1977, we’ve served neighbors across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with compassionate end-of-life care, helping those with advanced illness find comfort, dignity, and meaning while supporting families and caregivers.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Identify Patient/Family needs and coordinate Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) provision of services under physician’s orders.
- Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance quality of life for the Patient/Family unit.
- Collaborate with and be supervised by the Primary RN and/or Care Team Manager (CTM).
Requirements
- Valid Florida LPN License.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
- CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Current IV Therapy certification preferred; must obtain within six months of hire.
