Hospice Director of Nursing

Join PruittHealth Hospice, where we believe “our family, your family, one family” is more than a motto—it’s our mission. We’re seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our hospice care team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hospice services for patients and families.
• Supervise interdisciplinary team members (nurses, social workers, chaplains, etc.).
• Oversee admissions, care planning, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Ensure quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical and community liaison for hospice education and outreach.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• 1+ years of field hospice experience.
• 1+ years of leadership experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills and understanding of Hospice and Palliative Care.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and CPR certification.
• Experience in hospice, home health, med/surg, or oncology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice.
