About the role
As the Hospice Aide or CNA, you will provide patients with in-home personal care and designated health related services to maintain the patient's physical and emotional well being.
Primary Responsibilities
- May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including peri care and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair.
- Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet
- Reports observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager
- Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required
- Assists with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
- 6+ months of home care experience
- Ability to work flexible hours and independently
Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $21.15 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
