Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Hospice CNAs to join our team on Cape Cod!
As a Hospice CNA with Hospice Services of Massachusetts, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
Responsibilities
- Perform personal care needs for assigned patients, including bathing, dressing, undressing, and feeding
- Avoid oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens as needed
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- Provide proper care and observation of the patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominences
- Meet the safety needs of the patient and use equipment safely and properly
- Absorb and assist with ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist
- Offer and assist with bedpans and urinals, and help with light laundry needs
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in Massachusetts
- At least one (1) year of experience as a CNA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Caregiver approach to patient care
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Pay
Weekly pay ranges from $22 to $24 an hour. $2,000 sign-on bonus available*
