Hospice CNA

About the role

This is a Monday-Friday position, and we offer flexible scheduling—part-time or full-time—depending on what works best for you. We are also open to accommodating college or class schedules for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with personal care and daily living needs in their homes or facilities.
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team.
• Work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis.
• Drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Requirements

• Able to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice.

Qualifications

• Passionate about providing compassionate end-of-life care.
• Eager to gain higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Effective problem-solving skills.

Pay

Competitive Pay ranges $19 to $21/hr (commensurate with experience) + bonus opportunities.
