Hospice CNA

About the role

We are hiring a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team at Hospice Services of Massachusetts!

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of services to patients in their homes, including personal care, light housekeeping, and emotional support.
• Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and support possible.
• Coverage throughout Plymouth and Bristol Counties.
• $22 to $24 an hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay. $2,000 sign-on bonus available!

Requirements

• Perform personal care needs for patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Absorb and report changes in patient condition to the hospice team.
• Collaborate with the hospice team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Position Requirements

• Must hold an active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients safely and comfortably.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
