Hospice CNA

About the role

Provides compassionate care to patients and families in their homes. Assists with daily living activities, medication management, and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients and families in their homes to provide care and support
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Manage medications and medical supplies as directed by healthcare providers
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospice guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience in home health care or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices
• Pass background check and drug screening

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
