Hospice CNA

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice our goal is to change the expectation of hospice care in your area by providing exceptional care and service to our patients. This is achieved by allocating the resources to increase our staff-to-patient ratios, thereby increasing clinical visits while lowering clinician caseloads. About the role

• Support our patients with personal care and daily living needs in their homes or facilities
• Monday-Friday position with flexible scheduling—part-time or full-time—depending on what works best for you
• Opportunity to accommodate college or class schedules for the right candidate
• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but receive strong support from a patient care team
• Able to work independently on a day-to-day basis
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care
• Work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership
• Eager to gain higher-level opportunities such as certifications and further education

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice

Pay

Competitive pay ranges from $19 to $21/hr (commensurate with experience) plus bonus opportunities.
