Key Responsibilities Provide direct personal care to hospice patients in home settingsAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and toiletingSupport patient comfort and safety, including proper use of medical equipment (oxygen, bed rails, etc.)Perform skin care and positioning to prevent breakdown and promote comfortAssist with meal preparation, feeding, and light household tasks as assignedTake and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure) as directedObserve and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case ManagerProvide emotional support and companionship to patients and familiesOffer respite care for caregivers when neededMaintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with hospice standards Required Qualifications Minimum 16 years of ageActive State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationListed on the state nurse aide registry in good standingCurrent BLSPassionate care to terminally ill patientsStrong communication and observational skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in hospice, home health, or long-term careExperience supporting patients with chronic or terminal conditions Benefits & Perks Supportive, team-centered cultureMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (effective first of the month)401(k) with company matchGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidaysMileage reimbursementTuition reimbursement & career growth opportunitiesEmployee referral bonus programMerit-based pay increasesEmployee discount programs Why Join Queen City Hospice?
