Job Summary: The Hospice Clinical Supervisor will play a pivotal role in leading our San Antonio hospice startup operation. The Clinical Supervisor will lead and oversee the clinical operations of our organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance clinical services. The right candidate will be comfortable providing direct clinical care as the agency navigates the state and CHAP process; while continuing to build an IDG team in anticipation of rapid growth. Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership:Provide clinical care through the state and CHAP processProvide strategic direction and leadership for all clinical services within the organizationCollaborate with medical professionals and department heads to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient careImplement evidence-based practices to enhance the quality and safety of clinical servicesTeam Management:Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff members, including nurses, physicians, and support staffFoster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional development and growthConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedbackQuality Improvement:Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfactionMonitor and evaluate clinical processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changesEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirementsStrategic Planning:Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans related to clinical servicesStay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform decision-makingResource Management:Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency while maintaining high-quality patient careCollaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the clinical services budgetQualifications: Hospice experience requiredCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in required3+ years experience in similar role with proven success of leading others in a clinical settingBachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)Proven experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting is preferredStrong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practicesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and achieve resultsCHAP experience is a plusStartup experience is a plus Why Bloom?
