Hospice Certified Nursing assistant

About the role

AdvisaCare Home Health Care, a Medicare‑certified agency with over 20 years of experience, is seeking experienced, motivated, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personal care services to hospice clients in the Grand Rapids area. The position is per diem with the possibility of full‑time for the right candidate, allowing the CNA to build meaningful relationships and foster a healing environment within the home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to hospice clients served by the Grand Rapids office.
• Travel across the AdvisaCare service area (Barry and surrounding counties) to deliver care.

Requirements

• Current State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the service area.
• 6 months of hospice CNA experience or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment, including testing for medical and recreational marijuana.
