Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and community referral sources.
- Educate referral partners and the community about hospice services and the hospice benefit.
- Manage marketing accounts and develop follow-up and continuing education plans.
- Coordinate and follow up on pending referrals and communicate referral outcomes.
- Meet with patients and families to provide support and assist with hospice enrollment.
- Serve as a patient advocate across the hospice team, program, and community.
- Maintain appropriate documentation in patient charts.
- Participate in staff meetings, interdisciplinary group meetings, training, and in-service education.
- Plan and participate in engaging marketing initiatives, networking events, educational lunches, conferences, and community activities that strengthen relationships with case management and healthcare partners while increasing Lorian's visibility.
Requirements
- 2+ years of healthcare sales or marketing experience.
- Hospice or palliative care marketing experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, families, and community organizations.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with crisis intervention and family support.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable automobile insurance.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

Pay
Annual compensation range: $120,000–$125,000
