Hospice Branch Director - RN

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of terminal care and has expertise in pain and symptom management.
• Serves as a supervisor, overseeing the staff and managing documentation requirements.
• Oversees service coordination and case management for the interdisciplinary team.
• Schedules and assigns appropriate staff members to patients/families, and acts as a staff nurse when needed.
• Participates in community awareness and education programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and current RN license in the state of employment.
• At least two years of nursing experience within the last three years, including one year in a hospice setting.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing hospice operations.
• Competent with computers.
