Hospice and Palliative Care Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care focused on veteran patients
• Perform detailed assessments and manage complex symptoms such as pain, dyspnea, and delirium
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Lead goals-of-care and end-of-life discussions
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

Qualifications & Skills

• Medical degree and licensed to practice medicine
• Experience in hospice and palliative care, with strong assessment and symptom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills for patient discussions and team coordination
