Hospice and Palliative Care Physician

Role: Hospice Medical Director or Physician providing clinical oversight and patient care. Responsibilities Provide medical oversight, clinical consultation, and patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.Certify eligible patients for hospice services.Guide pain and symptom management to ensure patient comfort.Review care plans and medical records for accuracy and appropriateness.Collaborate with attending physicians to coordinate care.Conduct home visits when necessary to assess patient needs and progress. Qualifications And Skills Medical degree with appropriate licensing and certification.Experience in palliative or hospice care preferred.Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
