Hose Installation Technician
About the role
PIRTEK Des Moines is looking to hire a Hose Installation Technician to service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base, including manufacturing, construction, and rental companies. This role operates out of a purpose-built mobile service van, carrying out service calls in the local area to develop relationships with new and existing customers. Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a PIRTEK service truck equipped with specialized tools for fabricating flexible hose assemblies on-site.

Responsibilities
- Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base
- Build the customer base through sales and service calls in the local area
- Develop relationships with potential and new customers
- Be available for on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Mechanically inclined with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and self-motivation
- Experience in construction, earth moving, agriculture, or heavy equipment is a plus
