Hose Installation Mechanic

PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring a Hose Installation Technician to service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base, including manufacturing, construction, and rental companies.

About the role

As a PIRTEK Hose Installation Technician, you will operate out of a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van, carrying out service calls in the Auburn Hills area and vicinity. This role offers the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers. Successful candidates will receive full training to operate a PIRTEK service truck equipped with specialized tools for fabricating flexible hose assemblies on-site.

Responsibilities

• Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base
• Carry out service calls in the local area (Auburn Hills and vicinity)
• Maintain relationships with existing customers
• Develop new business and relationships with new customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined; hands-on experience in auto repair, off-road vehicle repair, or machinery repair
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
• Sound organization and planning skills
• Clean driving record
