Hose Fabricator Technician - RW Connection

R/W Connection Inc., a leading distributor of Industrial Hose, Gaskets, Conveyor Belting, and MRO supplies for over 70 years, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our Industrial & Hydraulic Hose Department at our Landisville, PA headquarters.

About the role

This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, and preparing industrial and hydraulic hose products with precision and attention to detail. We provide training for motivated individuals interested in developing skills in a specialized trade within a stable and growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and crimp industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, customer requirements, and job specifications.
• Perform pressure testing and quality inspections on finished assemblies.
• Operate hose fabrication, cutting, and crimping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage inventory through cycle counts, stocking, and order preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality products and excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and machinery.
• Basic math, measuring, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Prior fabrication, hose, hydraulic, or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
