Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients with all aspects of home and community life.
  • Ensuring consistent safety for clients.
  • Providing a healthy and professional friendship.
  • Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Scheduling, attending, and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments.
  • Shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client.
  • Encouraging regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two years of experience working with disabilities (preferred).
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Proof of insurance.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A letter from a person or employer verifying your field experience.
