About the role
Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5-12. As a HomeworkCafé® Teacher, you'll support students in our homework hubs and social spaces.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and help students’ progress in completing homework and with executive functioning skills.
- Communicate with teachers and parents on student progress.
- Promote a positive social environment for students.
- Adapt support to meet each learner’s needs.
- Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
- Create a warm, professional first impression and ongoing celebrity experience for all visitors.
- Keep campus operations running smoothly — including records, tuition payments, student medications & communications.
- Support events like Graduation, Prom, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and aesthetically inviting campus.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to support students with a wide range of assignments.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to function in a high-paced environment, be calm and open for feedback, as well as a self-starter.
- Ability to build rapport with students while maintaining authority, boundaries, and discipline.
- Maintain a clean and organized milieu space for students to learn.
- A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay
The pay range for this position is USD $27.30 - USD $27.30 /Hr.
