About the role
Home Care Assistant ideally based in or near Truro, supporting customers across Mid & West Cornwall.

- No previous care experience required – full training provided
What you'll be doing
Home care visits are a minimum of 1 hour, often 2 hours+, so you have time to offer companionship, build trust and support customers in a calm, personal and unrushed way. Your role is centred around companionship and helping customers feel comfortable, confident and connected in their own home. This may include:
- Spending quality time together and sharing conversation
- Offering reassurance and supporting daily routines
- Preparing light meals
- Gentle support with personal care where needed
- Helping with hobbies or simply being a friendly, familiar face
Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Overtime available
- Weekday availability required

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car (supporting customers across Mid & West Cornwall)
- Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
Paid mileage is provided between customer visits, except where there is a break of 2 hours or more.
