Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible hours Monday-Friday when school is in session.
- Travel to students' homes.
- Coincide and collaborate with students and parents to schedule sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments.
- Teach prescribed academic coursework in students’ home when a parent or caretaker is present.
- Communicate with students’ teachers about progress and/or assignment completion.
- Maintain accurate records on students’ progress.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Certification, And Experience
- Valid Professional Educators Teaching (PEL) License with endorsements based on the age of the student.
Skills And Abilities
- Must be able to perform all of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, in English.
- Has flexibility in working with students who have medical issues.
- Works within student attendance days for the school year.
Pay
$41.01/hour for the 2025-2026 school year.
