About the role

Are you ready to take your skills on the road? As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that. If you love your job but are a bit bored, if you love working with patients but want a new challenge, then this role might be for you.

You'll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you'll also be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye care to patients in their homes
• Dispense at all levels
• Measure and fit
• Manage your time effectively
• Work independently and on your own initiative
• Drive to visit patients in your assigned area

Requirements

• Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months-1 year)
• Current or recent senior/supervisory/management experience within optics
• Full UK driving licence and confident driver
• Based on Isle of Wight

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence

Skills

• Confident dispensing at all levels
• Senior/supervisory/management experience within optics
• Computer literacy

Pay

Salary: £26,853 per annum

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday per week 8.30am-5.30pm (flexibility required)
