Job Summary
As a Home Visits Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you'll drive eye care services to the doorstep of the nation, providing clinical care and smiles to vulnerable patients in their own homes. Based in Stafford, Stoke on Trent, or Wolverhampton, you'll work in various locations and environments, offering tailored care and making a real difference in communities.
About the Role
You'll be part of a dedicated team providing care to vulnerable patients in their homes. Our region covers parts of Birmingham, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, and Macclesfield. You'll work in a variety of settings and environments, ensuring flexibility to accommodate patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide eye care services to patients in their homes
- Offer tailored care based on patient needs
- Work in a range of locations and testing environments
- Cater to patient comfort and preferences
Requirements
- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months-1 year)
- Confident in dispensing at all levels
- Full UK driving license
Qualifications
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Experience in optics
- Background checks clear
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail

Pay
Salary: £26,852 per annum
Schedule
