Home Service Inspector (Will Train)

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
• Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships.
• Listen to customer needs and clearly explain practical solutions, winning customers over with confidence and care.
• Serve as a problem solver by utilizing in-depth training to determine the best overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, leveraging a robust advertising budget provided by Orkin.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home, learning the necessary techniques during training.
• Make recommendations to customers based on inspection findings, addressing any questions and setting expectations.
• Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad, receiving training on this tool.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required – Orkin will train you.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company will pay for this).
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and different types of environments.
