About the role
Full-time carpenter/handyman position with a Mr. Handyman franchise owner in Omaha, NE (68144). Part-time considered for the right candidate. You’ll handle drywall repairs, siding repairs, and a variety of general fix‑it tasks for residential and light commercial clients. A company vehicle is provided for daily use.
Responsibilities
- Perform drywall installation, patching, and finishing
- Repair and replace siding materials
- Complete miscellaneous carpentry, trim, and general handyman tasks
- Work independently on assigned jobs using a company vehicle
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate progress to the franchise owner
Requirements
- 5+ years of paid experience as a carpenter, handyman, or jack‑of‑all‑trades
- Clean background record
- Own a complete set of professional tools required for the work
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
