Home Provider with Housing- Dover Area

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Provider for a unique residential opportunity. This role includes housing, featuring a 2-bedroom condominium (to rent and live in) located in Dover, NH, as part of the arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Model positive thinking and provide support around the individual’s physical and mental wellbeing.
• Provide decision-making support and assistance with accessing community activities.
• Support development of ADL (Activities of Daily Living) skills.

Requirements

• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Background checks including criminal, OIG, BEAS, and motor vehicle records.

Qualifications

• Willingness to share your home and life, acting as a caregiver, positive role model, and mentor.
• Interest in providing support to an individual with developmental disabilities or dual diagnosis.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and mental health issues.
