About the role
A Home Providership is a contractual agreement, with a generous stipend, that may be an alternative or supplement to a more traditional employment opportunity. Our non-profit Agency provides program oversight and offers educational/clinical training and support to ensure success. This is a unique opportunity for you to be a positive role model and mentor, while directly enhancing the quality of another’s life. We believe that the rewards of assisting an individual to grow and become independent can be a wonderful experience for both the individual and the Home Provider.
Responsibilities
- Model positive thinking and provide support around the Individual’s physical, mental wellbeing, decision making, accessing community activities and other ADL skills.
- Ensure the individual requires their own room and private or shared full bathroom.
- Candidates must have a handicapped accessible home.
- All candidates must pass a background check which includes criminal and driving records.
Requirements
We are currently looking for individuals, couples, or families interested in becoming home providers for a variety of individuals. We pride ourselves on working with potential home providers and individuals needing homes to find the best match for both home providers and individuals.
Qualifications
The ability to work with a multidisciplinary team is a must.
