Home Merchandising Studio Coordinator
About the role
The Home Merchandising Coordinator serves as the operational hub between Home Merchandising, Creative, Production, and Digital teams. This role is responsible for ensuring product launches and photoshoots run smoothly by coordinating timelines, managing priorities, and ensuring the right products, assets, and resources are in place from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain creative and merchandising calendars, ensuring key milestones, deliverables, and launch dates stay on track.
- Cooky management, sample management, and shoot prioritization to support successful photoshoots and launches.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Home Merchandising, Creative, Production, and Digital teams.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure creative assets and product information are delivered on time.
- Track project status, communicate updates, and proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks.
- Cooky freelance resources and support studio operations as needed.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and maintain clear project documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and build scalable processes.
- Ensure creative assets and project documentation are organized and accurately maintained.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, creative operations, production, merchandising, or studio management, preferably within retail or ecommerce.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience managing calendars, timelines, and deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Airtable, or similar platforms.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to anticipate challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred
- Experience supporting creative production, photoshoots, or studio operations.
- Background in home furnishings, hard goods, retail, or lifestyle brands.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, digital asset management systems, and ecommerce merchandising workflows.
- Experience implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies across teams.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Standing and walking throughout the entirety of your shift.
- Ability to go up and down stairs, use of ladders throughout the day as needed.
- Bending, twisting, or kneeling may be required throughout the day for lifting or maneuvering objects.
- May be asked to work outside or travel to shoots off-site as needed.
Pay Range
$70,000 - $85,000 USD
