Home Infusion Nurse - Specialty Pharmacy

About the role

We’re seeking a skilled infusion nurse to support our specialty pharmacy clients in Anchorage, AK. If you thrive in caring for patients and families living with rare diseases, we want to hear from you. This would be a once a month infusion- PIV access for Apitegromab.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients and families living with rare diseases
• Supporting specialty pharmacy clients in Anchorage, AK
• Performing peripheral IV infusions with aseptic technique
• Maintaining strong interpersonal skills with patients and families
• Ensuring patient safety and infection prevention practices

Requirements

• Current CPR certification
• Active licensure in good standing
• Eligibility to participate in Federal programs
• Current personal liability insurance

Qualifications

• Training on disease state and drug will be provided; prior experience with rare disease therapies is preferred
• Proficiency in mixing medications in the patient’s home using aseptic technique
• Hands-on experience with peripheral IV infusions
• Familiarity with infusion ports is a plus

Benefits

Compensation from $60.00-$80.00/hour.
