About the role
A Home Infusion Registered Nurse responsible for delivering specialty medications via IV infusion in patients' homes, ensuring safe care and positive health outcomes.
Key Duties
- Administer specialty medications safely and effectively at home.
- Collaborate with care teams and pharmacists to support patient well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Serve as the primary contact for patient updates and care coordination.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active RN license in the practice state.
- At least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare.
- Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within a large region.
- Availability for a 40-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion programs.
