About the role

Fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Atlanta, GA area. This role offers a work-life balance, allowing nurses to build one-on-one relationships with patients while delivering high-quality care in the comfort of their homes.

In this PRN role, you will visit patients in greater Atlanta and surrounding areas with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes.
  • Deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
  • Use clinical IV experience and a personal touch to assist patients.
  • Interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners with excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
  • Engage in continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
  • Obtain and maintain additional licensure as required for multi-state service areas.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a current license in Georgia and the ability to be licensed in other states.
  • Minimum one year of nursing experience; IV-related experience is a plus.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance (liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL with no business exclusion clause).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of nursing experience.
  • One year of infusion experience.
  • Home healthcare experience.
  • Pediatric nursing experience.
  • CRNI or IgCN certification (preferred but not required).

Education

RN Diploma, Associates, or B.S. degree in nursing.
