Responsibilities
- Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels.
- Assists patient, taking prescription, necessary information, etc.
- Operates cash register.
- Delivers medications as needed.
- SUBMIT AND RECEIVES ORDERS FROM SUPPLIERS.
- Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
- Assists with I.V. preparation and delivery.
- Trains other employees in day to day procedures.
- Participates in the performance evaluation process for Technician I and Driver.
Requirements
- Position shares responsibility with other team members for daily delivery of patient medications to a Script Center in Mt. Gretna, PA.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Work Experience: Less than 1 year Pharmacy experience. Required 1 year Pharmacy experience.
- Preferred Licenses: Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required. Certified Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required.
- Courses And Training: Pharmacy Technician Program. Upon Hire Required.
