Pharmacy Technician - Home Infusion

About the role

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in all phases of the department operation including IV mixture, medication profiling, packaging, record-keeping, stocking, clerical duties, and patient communication as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assists in IV mixture and medication profiling
• Packages medications according to specifications
• Records and maintains accurate medical records
• Stocks supplies and restocks as needed
• Performs clerical duties as required
• Communicates with patients regarding their medications and treatment plans

Requirements

• California Pharmacy Technician License
• 2 years Experience with home care and infusion pharmacy responsibilities

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
