Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to conduct comprehensive interior and exterior home inspections.
- Identify termite activity, pest concerns, and conditions that may increase risk.
- Educate customers about inspection findings and recommended solutions.
- Design customized protection plans based on each customer's needs.
- Build trust through professional consultations and exceptional customer service.
- Follow up on company-provided leads and generate referral opportunities.
- Prepare service agreements and documentation using company technology.
- Manage your schedule and sales pipeline to achieve personal income and performance goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in the field while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (Orkin covers the cost of training and licensing).
Work Environment
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
