Responsibilities

• Completing Home Maintenance & Repairs – Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; project length ranges from two hours to multiple days.
• Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – Communicate daily with customers to help them understand what needs to be done and manage expectations about scope of work and costs.
• Create Life-Long Customers – Deliver a great experience that wows repeat customers; follow the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time (70% of business is repeat).

Requirements

• Live within a 10–25 mile radius of our office in Lake Mary, FL
• 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman/home remodeling professional
• Own all of your own tools
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle
• Complete a background and driving record check
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently
• Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle
• Self-manage effectively while working alone
• Provide excellent customer service, ask for reviews, and collect payments using Square
• Ability to use technology (iPad, ServiceTitan) and document jobs following the Mr. Handyman Way
