SEEKING PRN IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES: ORANGE, SEMINOLE, OSCEOLA Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, licensed Home Health Speech Therapist to join our team! As a Speech Therapist, you will be meeting with new patients, assessing their speech needs, and creating personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals. You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, is able to provide compassionate care to every patient, and has excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questionsMake evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short and long term goals for their speech and wellnessAssist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomesMaintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcomeWork closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success Qualifications Active state license for practicing speech therapyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong charting and documentation skillsFamiliarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
