About the role
Join a caring healthcare team as a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing treatments in patients' homes or facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and providing therapy services tailored to individual patient needs
- Participating in treatment planning and review
- Administering diagnostic tests and interpreting results
- Monitoring and reporting patient progress and condition changes
- Providing patient and caregiver education on communication aids and strategies
- Documenting care activities and participating in care coordination and discharge planning
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
Qualifications
- Minimum six months of experience as a speech-language pathologist
- Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Preferred: experience in home health settings
Pay
- Compensation: $54.00 - $76.00 per visit, with annual base pay ranging from $85,400 to $117,500
