Home Health Speech Language Pathologist - $39-59 per hour

About the role

Adventist Health is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Dallesport, Washington (with the team based in The Dalles, Oregon). The role provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Start date: ASAP; duration: ongoing; employment type: staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document speech therapy data related to patient assessments, care needs, interventions, and outcomes.
• Identify changes and trends in physical and emotional parameters.
• Review treatment plans and assess individual performance to modify, change, or write new programs.
• Maintain documentation as required by law, facility policy, and administrative regulation.
• Instruct patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent (required).
• Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice (required).
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy (required).
• Valid Driver's License and must be at least 21 years of age (required).
• Facility‑specific licenses/certifications: AHA‑BLS or ARC‑BLS or AHA‑CPR or ARC‑CPR (required).
• OR‑SLP license (required).
• WA‑SLP license (required).

Qualifications

• American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) (preferred).
