Nurse Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor vital signs and health indicators regularly
• Provide wound care and dressing changes
• Absist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Cookordinate with healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and update medical records
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Manage pain and symptoms for patients with chronic or terminal conditions
• Supervise home health aides and other support staff
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patient care
• Use medical equipment and technology efficiently and safely

Qualifications

• Minimal 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Certification in specialized areas of nursing (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics) preferred
• Previous experience in home healthcare or private duty nursing preferred
• Advanced training in critical care or emergency response preferred
