A part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct therapy services in home health settings, assisting physicians and physical therapists to deliver patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and educate patients to improve or maintain function, relieve pain, and promote independence.
• Communicate regularly with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, and document patient progress and treatments accurately.
• Collaborate on care plans, prepare discharge instructions, and participate in in-service programs.
• Ensure confidentiality, adhere to professional standards, and report patient observations promptly.
