Position Overview

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will deliver skilled education, treatments, and interventions under the guidance of a physical therapist and physician, focusing on patient care in a home health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services, treatments, and procedures aligned with the plan of care.
• Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding care plans and progress.
• Report patient observations and changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Assist in relieving pain and restoring or maintaining functional performance.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use of assistive devices and rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and discuss care plans.
• Plan and communicate discharge instructions and care continuity.
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain professional standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA.
• Valid CPR certification.
