About the Role
This position involves providing direct nursing care outside hospital settings, primarily in a home healthcare environment for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and environmental needs to develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and coordinate ancillary services to meet treatment goals.
- Supervise nursing staff and report patient status changes to the healthcare team.
- Evaluate patient responses, modify care plans accordingly, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and utilize community resources.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and uphold patient safety policies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
- Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience.
- CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to perform sedentary work, involving sitting, walking, and standing as needed.
